A CAT SNAP of this great event

Congratulations to all riders and support crew who took part in the 56th edition of Australia’s toughest one day classic, the Grafton to Inverell.

An unfortunate mechanical for Damian McKee and a bout of sickness for Hayley Bateup meant not all our CATS would get to finish. Jena Grimsey was also lucky to stay upright when she was struck during a downhill collision. Thankfully the spares vehiclecame to her rescue to replace the buckled wheel, and the chase was on to find a bunch she could work with.

After tackling the Gibralter Range, Wire Gully and putting in 7+hours of racing, we proudly report that Mark Gibbs, Sam Mobberley, Laurelea Moss and Jena Grimsey finished this year’s G2I. It’s too early to say if they will all be signing up again for it, but rest assured, the CATS will be back next year.
